Newsletter

The newsletter is not always making its way into the book bags, so HE to liase with the school to find the best way to do this.

Items for sale newsletter

PTFA to trial an items for sale newsletter, initially amongst the class reps

PA suggested following the freecycle style, with a heading in bold, and a one line ad. Approx 15 words maximum. The ad will cost £1, to be placed in an envelope addressed to PTFA with the advert written on it or emailed to the PTFA. It will go on the back of the monthly PTFA newsletter

PTFA secretary

The comittee will actively promote the role of secretary, hopefully filling this post at the next meeting.

Winterball

Sarah Taylor will investigate the costs of hosting a winter ball, and the fundraising opportunities it could provide.


Summer Fete

Lots of great ideas were bounced around , and the planning is well under way. Some actions were raised, and will be discussed in detail at the fete meeting on Thursday.

Kelly is compiling the stalls list for each year, which is almost complete and includes some great ideas.. Each year will provide their own gazebo, set-up the stall, decorate it, and clear down.

Paul has received offers of help for setting up, and refreshments will be provided for the helpers

Helen is liasiing with the school and arranging the performances.

Raffle tickets

Paul will order 3000 raffle tickets.

AOB

Giving machine has paid out £104 so far, with another £115 pending. This is all from only 21 givers!

Kelly has successfully set-up the Tesco’s school vouchers schemes.
